Annabel Mullins woke up to discover that the UK had voted to leave the EU. She felt sick. This ex-police officer knew that no party truly represented what she believed in. What was needed was ‘positive disruption’. So she ran for Parliament. She lost, but it was the beginning of a something more exciting…
Neither left nor right
Renew is a fledgling party made up by people from outside politics intent on disrupting the political system. When they came to us, their identity was a blue roundel. People assumed they were Pro-EU Conservatives.
They needed a controlling narrative that conveyed their intent and a new identity that did not lead people to assume they were renegades from established, legacy parties.
We collaborated with a core team to devise a new narrative around renewal and key messaging to communicate the key parts of their story.
Then we designed a new, dynamic identity that did not play to any of the conventions of political branding, and which conveys the party’s fresh, youthful approach.
The party is now currently recruiting fast and fundraising furiously in order to run candidates in nearly every constituency of the next general election.
